Begin with the assessment

Chiropractic care focuses on musculoskeletal symptoms and function. A useful first visit starts with your medical history, a discussion of your goals, and an appropriate examination. Bring details of previous injuries, surgeries, medications, and any relevant medical reports.

Imaging is not automatically needed for every patient. Your clinician can explain whether additional testing or referral is appropriate before treatment.

Know your treatment options

An adjustment is one possible tool, not the whole plan. Move Easy Chiropractic’s options include hands-on and instrument-assisted adjustments, soft tissue work, exercise rehabilitation, and education. Your comfort and clinical needs help guide the choice.

Ask what the proposed treatment is intended to do, what risks it carries, what alternatives exist, and how progress will be reviewed. You should understand the plan before starting care.

Make the most of your appointment

  • Describe what makes symptoms better or worse, not just where it hurts.
  • Tell your clinician about changes in strength, sensation, balance, or general health.
  • Ask about activities you can safely continue and what to modify.
  • Clarify costs, insurance participation, and follow-up expectations with the office.

Care continues between visits

Home exercises, movement breaks, training modifications, and ergonomic changes may be part of your plan. There is no universal number of visits or guaranteed recovery schedule. Progress should be considered in relation to your symptoms and function.

This educational guide is not a diagnosis or treatment recommendation. Discuss your individual symptoms, health history, and care options with a qualified clinician.
